STE-10 | Tape Echo Pedal

$60

It's so 'for reel'... (see what we did there?)

So, why is Tape Echo different than any other echo? Well, hypothetical reader, we're glad you asked. Tape Echo was actually the first type of delay in the audio world. Originally done on tape in a variety of experimental methods, a second copy of the signal is put to tape after pausing for a certain amount of time after the original is put down. That process is copied as many times as you want, at whatever interval you want, to get the effect you want. Just like our STE-10 pedal design displays, we take the idea of reel-to-reel style tape echo and shove it into a mini pedal with easy to use controls. Not only do you have a standard Level control, you also have a Time Adjustment (how long between copies of the signal), a Regen Adjustment (how many times do you want the copy to play), and even a toggle that lets you choose from 3 combo settings including an option to Reverse your sample. Go for some classic Sun Records Slapback or crank the Time and Regen knobs to go psychedelic. It's up to you you you you you you you...

      Detailed Operation

The Tape Echo Guitar Effects Pedal from CNZ Audio beautifully reflects a broad range of effects with it’s origins found in the reel to reel effects of yesteryear. The initial sound emulates what you play with a tunnel-like touch, and is then followed by a short, sweet, and sharp reverb. There are 2 modes available: the Normal Dial Setting Mode and Fixed Mode, which allows you to store a set of parameters.

This mini pedal has a Regen knob to adjust the longevity of the echoes. You can reduce it to a single burst of the sound, or set it to repeat your sound nearly one hundred times.

The Level knob allows you to comfortably and easily adjust the presence of the echo. This knob lets you decide whether you want your echo to be loud and clear or subtle.

Your guitar sound has endless fine-tuning options with this mini pedal! The Tape Echo Pedal comes with the option of clear, normal and reverse echoes with the toggle switch. The clear option gives a slightly brighter tone, and the normal gives a full sound to your echo. The reverse echo allows you to hear your playing backwards, giving an edgy kick to your new sound.

The Time knob in the center of the Tape Echo Guitar Effects Pedal changes the tempo and speed of the echoes. The time control is subject to the level and regen knobs. Drift off into some far away place listening to the echoes of your brilliant solo.
