VDU-20 | Dumbled Drive Overdrive Pedal
Professor DumbledPedal - Headmaster of CNZ's School of Overdrive
Named in homage to boutique amp legend, Alexander 'Howard' Dumble, our SDU-20 Dumbled Drive pedal is a customer favorite. Our goal with this pedal is to provide classic, boutique overdrive tones at a budget-friendly price. Unlike distortion pedals, an overdrive's effect on your tone is heavily dependent on your gain/volume going in, through, and out of your pedal. At low gain, overdrive effects have a warming influence on your tone. The more drastically you dial it up, the more breakup and velocity there is. Our Dumbled Drive gives you independent Gain, Volume, Voice, and Tone knobs to dial in your overdrive from soft and warm to soaring and broken-up.

Detailed Operation
The Dumbled Drive Guitar Effects Pedal from CNZ Audio takes your electric guitar signal and adds that classic, meaty mid-range overdriven tone. This pedal can enhance your effects chain to dynamically broaden your tone and get that elastic overdrive sound you’ve been waiting for.
The Voice Knob allows for you to choose the coloration of your tone. Turning the knob all the way in the counter-clockwise direction will remove the pedal’s natural sound and let you drive your guitar and amp with clarity. Turning the knob the opposite direction will unleash the pedal’s thick, overdriven tones.
The Volume knob simply allows for the signal output from this pedal to be easily changed by the user. From a subtle overdrive effect to a loud and powerful sound, this pedal can do it all!
The Gain knob allows for change in the overall amount of drive in the effect. Adding more Gain will make a louder and fuller tone while taking away some Gain will make for a great transparent drive sound.
The Tone knob changes the EQ of the pedal. Adding more “top” by turning clockwise will engage more treble and mid sounds while turning it counterclockwise takes away the top end and brings out the lows. Inspire Your Music with this Vintage Series Pedal!
